Kevin, I know what the "rules" say--no jewelry including a wedding ring. All I wear is a watch and ring. I wear them almost always. I had surgery last week; would part with the watch, but not my ring. There are times when I remove the ring, like working on a car or in a PTV in a tight spot., where I temporarily remove it, but that is rare. The danger (in my opinion) is more mechanical than electrical. Years ago in the Navy, I was helping load a few hundred typewriters onto a truck to take to salvage. One of the carriage return levers caught on the wedding band as I was passing a typewriter down the line. Nearly took off my finger.
