[TechAssist] "No vertical deflection on Sanyo 14" CTV."

Hi List,Happy New Year to all!I recently received a Sanyo 14" CTV Model #
31C475P with Chassis # G4Y-475P11, I some of you may not be familiar with set
since this is a Philippines model.Actually the problem with this unit is that
the Vertical deflection is not working.I've been repairing for 8 years now but
this one gives me a grey hair!The vertical IC is LA7837 drivin by LA7855N
Jungle IC.There is a vertical oscillator signal coming from the Jungle IC to
pin # 2 of vertical IC (The vertical trigger input of LA7837)but still there is
no vert. def.I swap the vertical IC and replaced all components in the vertical
from a working set to no avail.I also noticed that if I disconnect the input of
vertical IC and connect a short piece of wire I can get vertical deflection,
therefore the vertical section is working?Any help well be appriciated.Thank in
advance.
