Sometimes the data is corrupted.  Then your only option is to get a
preprogrammed eeprom.  They are available form Main Electronics in
Vancouver BC Canada.  250-872-0267 Ask for Mike or Daniel.  You may
still have to adjust the tuner parameters to get a good picture on all
channels.

Not to drag this on,but I remember trying this.Probably didn't do the
right sequence,but all I managed to do was transfer the old corrupt
parameters to the new "blank" chip,so now I have two exact chips with
corrupt data.
How does it transfer the "good" data without also the bad?
