The "Annie" that I'm familiar with IS a
compressor(refridgeration) analizer.
I had one when I worked for a soft drink bottler.
They were made to run a compressor directly, and
measure current draw etc.
They also had the ability to run a compressor
backwards.
You could "rock" it back and forth, and free up an
old stuck compressor, and get a little more use out
of it.
Mine had a cap checker on it, but I found out by
blowing one up, that it wasn't designed to check
"tv" type elyc. caps.
Motor start caps are different.
