Yes---the excessive correction does cause over heating (more than normal
anyway)  The reason it affects the red and blue is because those are the one
closest to the speakers.  The one I seen day before yesterday (mits uhhhhh
WS65831? guessing at model # 2001 model) the speaker on the left/red side
actually affected both the red AND blue.  These sets cannot have drift as
they are digital convergence.  All you can get is corrupt memory which is
what I suspected on the first one I had the problem with (tosh) and replaced
the DC CBA (DCU or hyper board equivelent) just to have the same
problem---set the convergence in SM--turn set off then on just to have it
change in the SM again.  The magnetic field makes it float around.  You'd
think that if the speakers were not moved that it wouldn't be a
problem---but it is.
