Flickering scan lines thru the image. We had rebuilt the power supply on the one ( STR50041 , open caps on board and short poly cap) Regulator shorted about 1 month later , replaced again. Week later they called us on this problem. Looks like a bad cap on a B+ line. Don't want to burned the group with this dog unless were stuck. Schematic is now our priority. Actually brought the console back to the shop..........no way to jig this chassis easily We made the bed , we'll sleep in it ( for a night or two) ================================= Jeff Stielau Shoreline Electronics Repair 344 East Main Street Clinton,CT 06413 (860)399-1861 (860)664-3535 FAX jstielau@xxxxxxxx ================================= ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter oliver" <oliver_peter1@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, May 24, 2004 11:09 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Re: NEC KX2792S Schematic Needed > Whats wrong with the set? > > Peter Oliver > Tucson Radio TV > > > From: "Shoreline Electronics" <jstielau@xxxxxxxx> > Reply-To: techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > To: "Tech Assist" <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: [TechAssist] NEC KX2792S Schematic Needed > Date: Mon, 24 May 2004 21:16:04 -0400 > > > > Make : NEC > Model : KX2792S 27" Console TV > > Could use a scan of the power supply and Sweep derived B+ circuits./ > > No sams listed > > Anyone have this old timer? > > > ================================= > Jeff Stielau > Shoreline Electronics Repair > 344 East Main Street > Clinton,CT 06413 > (860)399-1861 > (860)664-3535 FAX > jstielau@xxxxxxxx > ================================= > > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- > Lost Password: > http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Login Problems?". > Email Archives: > //www.freelists.org/archives/techassist/ > > _________________________________________________________________ > Is your PC infected?
