Thanks Bob; I just fixed this one. Was actually a problem in the add/delete programming, which Jeff's original diagnosis from his Tech Repair CD referred to. I was just too stupid to follow up on it. Customer told me to scrap it, but I just left a message on his machine to give me a call. If he has gone out and bought another one, I'll put it in my Front Porch for the summer.;-) -Ed- Tel-Tek Electronics Ontario-Canada teltek3@xxxxxxxxxxxx Ask me about the Tech Repair CD. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob@Bobs tv" <woodman1@xxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, May 14, 2004 9:21 AM Subject: [TechAssist] Re: NEC 25" TV CT-2501C Chassis-X8A No Sound > Ed, > Working on a CT2606 now for no/erratic sound found lots of cold soldered > connections on IC201 under metal shield.....Some of the IC's are on sockets > and pins must be cleaned..
