[TechAssist] Mitsubishi projection model VS-6071- part identification

Set has no vertical sweep- vertical ic is charred. I believe it is an LA7838
but would like confirmation from someone who knows. Everything else checks ok
but if you know what caused this ic to burn please include in your response.
