Alex, Bend down the hold down tabs, that hold the cassette, a little. These are usually on the top part of the carriage. Sounds like one of the tabs are not holding the cassette tight enough. I have received four of the same type of time-lapse VCR's (Mitsubishi HS-7496U) with tapes stuck in them. I replaced the carriage and both RT/LT side arms gears which were broken. For some reason the tape is till being pulled into the VCR at a slight angle (left side lags a little behind the right) enough to bind the loading process. The only thing left is the sync gear assembly, which look OK to me on all units. I also doubled checked to insure that both arms on each side (gears) were even so this is not the cause. Has anyone run across this before? Thanks. Alex Alhelmetag@xxxxxxx Ps A special thanks to everyone's input on the RCA with no Horz. A special thanks to Wayne Vanaman. ------------------------------------------ To REMOVE your email address, click here: http://www.tech-assist.org/unsubb.html To CHANGE your email address, click here: http://www.techassist.net/forms/change.html ------------------------------------------ ***NEW*** Tips Added Instantly!!!*** Submit Repair Tips here: http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/ ------------------------------------------ To REMOVE your email address, click here: http://www.tech-assist.org/unsubb.html To CHANGE your email address, click here: http://www.techassist.net/forms/change.html ------------------------------------------ ***NEW*** Tips Added Instantly!!!*** Submit Repair Tips here: http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/
