[TechAssist] Mits VS-6021Ca V11 Chassis

Techs,
This set came in with immediate shutdown problem.
Replacing R540 (off flyback) cured that.
After awhile, the luma and chroma would fade.
completely.
I.C. 202 took care of this problem.
Now I have insufficient width.
Replaced Q5A1(pin. cushion) and I.C. 501 (side pin)
but when the set is turned on, Q5A1 literally blows apart.
Checked B+ on anode of D502, Approx 120 V. (too high?)
Caps and diodes seem O.K. in that circuit.
Any suggestions as this set is killing my knees.
