Cant the customer just call Mitsubishi customer support and ask them? Or
email them if the customer has the facility?

I am sure it is  in some sort of Parental Lock. I never had to disable one
of these so if anyone knows the procedure for a 12yr old Mitsubishi I would
love to get a copy of it.
