LeRoy,
There are a couple different techniques. The resistors didn't work the one time 
I got to try them.
The diodes, I have tried, yet. This MOD is on the www.nesda-ohio.com site.

Don't you mean resistors ?
I seen your bypass suggestions for the IK problem, but it didn't mention
diodes.
I didn't want to try it, unless it comes back to me for "no video" problems,
cause the picture still looks pretty good. But at least I have an idea of
what to do in such a case.
