Hi Bob,
VDR 3345 looks good and I let the set run about 45 minutes and everything
works ok. Right now it even turns on when crt board is connected. I thought
may be there is some bad connections. I am checking the main board right
now. If I can't find anything then keep it in the shop for couple days see
what happens.

See if this might be it:

SYMPTOMS:  No raster, ticking sound, HV is pulsating at 15-20 KV,
resistor 3345 on the CRT module is discolored/degraded.

CURE:  Replace 5445 (flyback-observe part number) and 3345 (2122 550 00152).
3345 is a special VDR (voltage dependent resistor).
