Magnavox RK5554, 27P1 ch....can't turn off {FIXED}
This dog is finally out the door!
Thanks to everyone who contributed the help on this one, especially to Bob
Waterman for the advice and part numbers and to Mike Wilson for the tip.
I found R446 off of the base of Q433 that went to P19 of the micro bad.
Although it checked well within tolerance it must have been breaking down
under load. Subbed another one in its place and it worked. However, the
base voltage on Q433 did not change but the collector voltage was greatly
changed when in the "off" state.
I hate these type of problems where everything checks good but it don't work
:-(
