Just the HOT and the pico fuse is a common failure in addition to the normal
resoldering of the h-drive transformer and flyback. I'd put in a new fuse or
a jumper in place of the pico fuse and put the light bulb in place of the
main ac fuse to t.e.s.t. it.

Subject: [TechAssist] Maggy 25S107 shorted HOT

Good day,
Model CP4580A101
Chassis 25S107 no year stamp.
This oldie came in with shorted HOT (610697) and open pica fuse F401.
there is a 200v and 250v cap that ESR fine. Are there any other common
failures on this?
Reason I ask, I placed a light bulb across the pica fuse and the set would
still not fire up. During, I checked voltage on HOT which was very low,
about 25vdc. Maybe this method doesn't work for this chassis.
I also checked the REG IC and there were no pins shorted, so I won't know
anything else on this until I get the supply voltage going to it.
