 Electrohome DVD player (same as Emerson -unknown model)- plays both
DVD -R and DVD +R equally well

JVC DVD player model XV-S300BK - plays both DVD +R and DVD -R equally well

Panasonic DVD player model DVD-RV22- plays DVD -R only

Sony DW-D22A DVD±RW Dual Layer Burner-->>Plays/Burns it in all
formats<< -$60 - 90.00
Sony DRU-710 is comparable to it.
