On Toshiba Microwaves we can purchase a little bottle of touch up. Like a bottle of Nail polish, only white. This OK for small spots. If you have to repaint a big part of the cavity, most likely any spray paint will start to burn on the "hot" spots and continue on from there. Any difference in thickness of the paint, that will be the first spot that it will "flare". -Ed- Ed Gaidies Tel-Tek Electronics Ontario-Canada teltek3@xxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: techassist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:techassist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of gulftech@xxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, December 01, 2003 12:32 PM To: techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [TechAssist] Re: MICROWAVE CAVITY PAINT Jose, In my opinion, the major difference is cost. Most cavity paint is epoxy, which is very durable and dries hard. Except for commercial units, I use cheap enamel--many fine coats to repair small areas. Dries quickly and protects the metal. That's the main purpose anyway.
