[TechAssist] MAGNAVOX DVD611AT22, Won't read DVD (Second Post)

Hi all,
This DVD player reads audio CD's, however, will not read a DVD. We haven't
got a lot of experience in working on DVD's. Hope someone can give me a
starting point. Can this be a bad pickup? If so, how can it read a CD and
not a DVD. Looking for an education. TIA.
