That Toshiba/Samsung power supply can be tested separately from the vcr. The
output voltages are as follows:
1  ground
2  33 volts
3  21 volts
4  ground
5  14 volts
6  5.8 volts
7  -25 volts
8  +filament (about 3 volts above pin 9)
9  - filament (about -19 volts to ground)
