Check Thermister, and also be sure to ask if they have it setting next to 
anything large that is metal or any large stereo speakers near the tv, or 
have a Satellite box ontop the tv (Actuator p/s transformer can form a 
magnetic feild) or kids playing with the tv with magnetics (unlikely), maybe 
even a crack on the PCB or loose plug on the deguassing circuit. I've seen 
many things outside of the set such as these above be the cause. You'll find 
it but it may take some asking questions or a bit of further 
troubleshooting.
