Your recollection is correct. It is about 6v too high. I have the manual
and can scan and send it to you from home tonight. I am also selling off
all of my Kenwood manuals for 50% of cost ( = $8 for most), plus UPS charges
individually or make me an offer for the whole bunch. Most of what I have
is late 80s to mid 90s audio, some earlier stuff.

I assume you can accept a large attachment unless I hear from you.

Subject: [TechAssist] Kenwood KR594 Bias problem

Gentlemen,

I am working (without a Schematic) on a Kenwood KR594. On the center
terminal of the Emitter Resistor, on one of channels, I have a nice solid 6
volts sitting on it. To my recollection, that is a tad bit too much, and of
course the shut down circuit is agreeing with me.

Does any one have a scan on this thing's power amp section I might beg steal
or barrow?

Thank you for your time and effort.

Ty
