[TechAssist] JVC SR-L901U vcr video problem

This 1995 time lapse vcr has an RF envelope characteristic of a video head
assembly with one head badly worn. Installing new head does not help. We
service a lot of units of this model and have accumulated three with this
same problem. Has anyone fixed this problem on this model?
