Thanks for the heads up Bob,
I had replaced c424 and IC421 but it blew a hole in it at
turn on. That's when I started looking at the ZD422. It is leaking. This is a
bit more involved than the usual vert problem.
That's when I decided to get the schematic.Really appreciate the info.

JVC Vertical Failure
You most likely have all or most of the following components defective in
that unit (these are the usual bad components with vertical IC failure in
these JVCs) so you better check or replace them all:
IC421 (part# LA7832)
D422 (part# MTZJ75-T2)
D541 (part# RGP10J-5025-T3)
R541 (1.8 ohm, 2 watt)
C424 (100mfd/35v)
C425 (470mfd/35v)
