I tried to fix an Infocus projector once and they will not sell parts, manuals, nor give any assistance. They refer you to one of their authorized repair centers or to their repair shop. I inquired on how to become an authorized center and they said you have to commit to doing $1million in business before they would consider it. Even the big servicers like United Radio can't serive these. InFocus has a flat rate for labor and the parts are ridiculus. Expect an average of ~$700 per repair is what I was told. I recommend against InFocus products anytime that I can. Leonard G. As soon as the unit is powered up, screen logo "Infocus" is perfect but then after about 30-45 seconds, It looks like the blue flashes in and out. Unit was taken to another shop and was told that unit needs to be sent to infocus for repair. Does anyone else have any input to this problem with this unit that i may be able to get a better grip on? By the way, I've seen other posts on here that say that the bulbs in these units will check open, even when the bulb is good. The lamp in this unit checks 3.5 ohms. Is there a difference in the bulbs for certain projectors?
