Don't waste much time on it. Infocus will not sell parts nor manuals and will provide no technical assistance whatsoever. I have never run into a worse stone wall for service. They insist that you send it to them or to one of their authorized service centers for service. I inquired as to what the requirements would be to become an ASC and they replied that it would require a commitment to do over a million $ per year in business on their products and stock a full line of boards. I had a government agency with a unit that had an audio problem with a chip that was going thermal and could not get the chip anywhere. They would not sell the chip nor the board. The customer had to send it to them for repair for over $1000 for a repair that we could have done for a few hundred at most. I'd be willing to bet that there are lots of these units out there with this problem because the light leakage in the set was the reason for the excessive heat. Lousy design. Of course, if you do all of your own service, no independents will ever be likely to notice this kind of thing and no one will ever know... Never have I tried to deal with a more arrogant company. I recommend against their products and have warned our sales people of my wrath if they ever try to spec one into a job.
