Yes, true hd is superior.
But, there is very little true hd out there.
When I was at Future Tech we had a small theatre
set up in the store, with nice couches, surround
sound, mood lighting, and a 60" Toshiba, or Hitachi
showing a true hd demo.
People would look at that, and go bananas.
Them when they got it home(in their doublewide
trailor),  and hooked it to regular cable or
satellite, or worse, a broken antenna, it didn't
measure up.
And, they were mad.
For HD to work, it has to have been filmed with a
HD camera, and processed HD all the way down the
chain.
