Jerry,
During playback of tapes, the VCR does not pass the audio thru the tuner, it
does pass it to the RF modulator. I'll let you know soon if the new tuner
fixes the problem. Thanks

If a pre-recorded tape plays with audio, the problem is not the tuner.
