No,mine was not a convergence problem.
Mine was a Video problem, caused by caps on the Signal board(the board 
mounted vertically
on the Right).
The caps were Blue 100uF/16v mostly,but there were Blue 22uF/50v,and even 
some Black 10uF/50v
I would guess these same 'type' of caps are on the Convergence 
panel........ ???
