[TechAssist] Hitachi 50UX26B horiz. instability in pic.?

The picture seems to vibrate.Better seen with my crosshatch generator.
With the cross hatch pattern,the horizontal pattern lines all seem
stable. The vertical lines are shaking ,or vibrating side to side.(they
are the up-down lines ).
Please note that S-VIDEO IS OK.
Only noticable with RF cable inputs and the RCA line in jacks.So
naturally I assumed the 3-comb filter board was bad.(This is the typical
senereo when s-video is unaffected) Went to the Hitachi site and found a
reference to "lines in picture" which said change three parts on the
comb board: IX001,XX02,XX03: one IC,CP01081U and two "cans", BJ00141 and
BJ00112.
I ordered and installed them with no improvement.
Since S-vid is OK must I assume this comb board is still bad or do I
look elsewhere?
I've emailed Alvie at Hitachi and await his assist again.
He's been patient with me.
Getting desperate here...
Any Hitachi PTV Gurus out there?
