[TechAssist] Hitachi 20" Chassis NP83X

Anybody got anything on the above chassis. Will not turn off. Picture
stays...sound switches off, with power switch.
Original problem was no turn on. But after unplugging degaussing coil it
came on. Figured it might be a shorted degaussing coil, but after plugging
it in again seems to be OK.
I have checked the relay, and it open and closes with Power Swich, but
picture stays on.
This is a 1984 set, so a quick fix is all we can venture.
Help.....
