Ken:

        Whenever I suspect a bad one of these, I do a fast Current Test on
My DMM. If it cant put out more than 200mA , I figure its on its way. A good
one will put out between 1-2 Amps I think. A Lot of "PC Techs" Never bother
checking the Current, and like you say, dont see 0.13V as so Critical. In
fact, if the Battery is left in there in that state for to long, it 'could'
develop a 'whisker' which is basicly a resistance......and could corrupt the
CMOS setting, and cause strange behavior which makes no sense at all.

Thanks to Jose and all who offered help.

I put in a new CR2032 last night.  Did the trick.  Odd that the old one
measured 2.87 volts; just 0.13 lower than the 3 volt rating.  Maybe under
load it might be lower, but there isn't much load on the battery in
circuit.
