Great.
I'm so glad we can converse without hurt feelings,
and flared tempers.
As for NY, I'd personally like to visit.
Our choir director goes about twice a year.
He holds a PhD in music and is the local college
professor.
He loves the shows and the food, two things I hold
dear.
As for my wife, Cathy, it would have been 1968.
We wern't married yet, but soon would be.
She was an exchange student, going to London, and
Paris for the summer, while I was at Ft.
Lenordwood, Missouri.
She flew into NY, and had a layover.
Probably not the greatest example, but she was
appaled by the prices, and said everyone she met
was rude.
She loved London England.
She Hated Paris France, and was in bith cities long
enough to get a good feel for it.
I'm a lot more laid back than she is, in fact, more
than most people.
Even around here.
Your example of your mechanic talking you through a
tranny repair on the phone is a little different
than the actual case as, I assume, you don't fix
trannys at all.
The origional scenareo, was two techs talking, even
though the circumstances that brought them together
were strange.
Anyway, I'd love to continue to converse with you
about our different areas of the country, but we
probably should take it off list, UNLESS, some
others would like to engage in peaceful
conversation.
