I have had the output IC's intermittent U1901 and U1902 #216806/TDA2052 also replace input coupling caps c1901 and c1902 they are very small 1mfd caps. I just fixed my sister in-laws ctc169 for intermittent volume level and no volume by replacing U1502 #176226 the electronic volume/balance/tone IC.
