This multi function machine, Printer, Scanner and copier, has a problem in
the scanner section. When turned on it will go through initialization and
the scanner head will move to it's idle, or home position but the motor
continues running and the gears click. There must be a sensor that is not
working but I can't locate one. Does anyone have an idea what to look for on
this? How it detects the home position? Where to look for repair tips? Any
other suggestion?
Thanks,
Jim Myers
