We put up a Winegard HD antenna #HD9095P (UHF only) - the biggest one
they make for HD. It is about 3 stories high on our shop roof.
We get 7 HD off air stations (some drop in/out as they don't have the
big towers up on the mountain yet). We also want to put up a rotor
as signals come from different locations and the antenna is sharp
tuned. Also, we tried a two piece amplifier up on the
antenna--reception was worse!
Guess we will need a UHF only amp. We have found that in near future
we will spend alot of time talking to customers about what HD is and
how they can get it, and the day of home service calls may return!
