Well I guess you could say the bottom is stretched, if there were a picture 
there at all.  The normal horizontal line that you get when the vertical has 
collapsed isn't through the middle of the screen, but about one quarter of the 
way down from the top of the screen.  Audio is there, with no distortions, and 
I've run out of ideas what to test next.
