I submitted this unit to the forums when it came in,but have more info
now. Customer said it would "shut off" after 20-30 minutes.Wait
awhile,try again and would work OK,then shut off again. Now,no pix all
the time.Got schemo (Herman electronics sent me a Sony "sub" manual for
a 53X30,not exact).The tech troubleshooting this says: Has no pix,but
has high voltage to the CRTs anodes,looking directly into the CRT shows
totally black,no illumunation on either three.All three have filiment
voltage glowing in necks. "G" board: -135V measures -138,+133V meas.
+133, -15V meas. -23V,+15V meas. +10V, +45V meas. +50V, +115V meas.
+114.5V. On the convergence "D" board, at plug "D16" measured less than
2VPP of some kind of signal,the schemo states should be about 100VPP
vert.not there. He's thinking the Jungle chip IC201 "CXA1012AS" is
suspect (sony# 875203171). Any input on this appreciated.
