See below thread. Other emails had luck clearing this horizontal
instability with replacing IC201,TDA4858. Did that, no change. What is
causing this jagged display (even on OSD)We used to call it
"pie-crusting" because of the horiz. jagged edges on everything.Help!

Allen, I restored this dead Acer to working (C327,R241, pico fuse J013)
but now way out of horiz, sync. Unit uses a TDA4858 as IC201.(I suspect
it) I have a TDA4856 in stock,discription and specs seem similar.Same#
pins.Are they interchangible? Thanks. If not, need cost/avail.on the
original TDA 4858.Thanks-Phil
