Tony-If I wanted to test the supplt out of set,what kind of load would be good
and how many watts should this supply provide?{can provide}-pete

blown H out and failed supply. replaced the output with C5148 and the regs Q
601 and Q 602 plus the fusible resistor. After 5 min the reg would get
extremely hot and destroy themselves. Replaced the regs, all 8 glass type
diodes, all Mylar and ceramic caps on primary, the varistor and the bird tird
caps ( .47uf tantalum) but still regs would get hot. Only thing left was the
Reg drive transformer T603, After replacing T603 supply runs at much cooler
temp and has not failed .
