Shaun, does that have the mirrored take-up reel? I think it does. Might be
that simple, just clean the mirror. The sensor logic on the older machines
after shut-down like that had to be unplugged to reset... Either that or
check your take-up reel sensor itself.

the power suply voltages are right and stay the same. This is and older vcr
so dont want to spend to much time but the customer will pay for a basic
fix.
