Follow up on this problem
Seems they were 1/2 correct...read below.....

Yeah, looks like we had blocked 'socal.rr.com' for SPAM or viruses. I've
removed the block, at least temporarily. If we continue to receive
garbage from that link though, we'll have to escalate the issue.

itself......here....according to Time Warner's Road Runner Technicians. See I

been having problems posting here to the LIST..every attempt has been sent back

till just a few minutes ago] with a statement that access was denied FOR this
IP
address.
Ok I want to know who is SPAMMMMMMING the FREELISTS..??? That was the only
conclusion Road Runner came up with.....that the FreeLists.org had blocked all
access
form Road Runners IP address here in Bakersfield , CA .
Since Yesterday was the third time in two weeks this has happened...funny
thing was
I could not even send an answer back to Road Runner either for a
while.....email came
back with same exact errors too....... :-}
Now that is funny, well maybe not...but at least it made them take
notice..since the
TEC assisting me could not get an email to the LIST either.
His advice " contact FreeLists direct" ..hmmm really..land line??? hmmm email no
no..ah I got it go direct to their home page and contact them ..hmmm no
no...not that
either bounced again....no phone #'s listed..hmmmm
And how was your day???? :-} ...........
Now I am back in here ...but the fix they did to communicate with them has gone
bad
again..mail was bounced once more.
