Actually Leroy, LG is the best thing that happened to Zenith. To date,
they
have injected 1 billion into the once ailing company. Now they have some
of
the best electronics ever ! They supplied Zenith with the funds so they
could be the leader in HD development. Zenith developed the 8VSB system
for
HDTV broadcast amongst other things. Yes, the 90's were BAD years for
Zenith
but in the last 4 years I have done only one warranty claim on the new
Flatron sets. Their parts dept in blindingly fast here in Canada and the
service support is pretty good too. Anyway, these are just my opinions.
I
agree however, it will be interesting to see what happens to RCA quality
and
support in the future.
