The driver transistors are not on the CRT boards they are on the main boards. All thought solder looked good re-soldered around driver transistors. Has been playing about 24 hours now no problem with color changes or shut down. It did have a convergences problem but this unite has an advanced convergences the customer can use and it works well. Only resin I can see going into convergences set-up would be if the green crosshatch were off and it was good. Thanks guys. Check signal board very closely---especially look IN the interboard connectors. Disconnect them to verify no fluid inside the connector itself. Some of those models have the "one drop" syndrome. Maddening. One drop and it migrates under an IC on the signal board. Not sure if its this model. Also--Isnt this the one that has bad driver transistors on the crt modules? Mits's web site must be down for maitenence. Green driver transistor would probably check good but still be bad. Anyone seen this out there? Customer said it would play with good picture until this happened. He had it on when we got there and had a good picture. Has been playing about two hours here at the shop with good picture. He also said the longer it was off the longer it would play before doing this.
