TELEVISION Quasar VV2017W Dead, Stdby only 2v
PR1001(1.5Amp), caused by metal someone had put in unit.
That was the fix! I pulled a metal bolt and wingnut from the chassis.
These small fuses are at the front of the VCR switchibg power supply on the
viewer's right side.Had to pull the whole chassis, Dremmel-cut a hole in the
plastic frame to access trace side of fuses (saved deck removal and extensive
teardown). Unit powered on with good picture in tuner and VCR playback. Thanks
so much.
