[TechAssist] [ FIX ] Optimus STAV-3170 Stereo - Dead unit

Make : Optimus model STAV-3170 ( Cat. # 31-3023 )
Type of equipment : AM/FM stereo receiver ( Studio quality ).
Symptom : Dead unit.
Fix : Replaced output transistors on one side only. Also replaced all
damaged parts in the driver ckt. of the same side. The other side was NOT
damaged.
Parts replaced :
2SA1302 output transistor.
2SC3281 output transistor.
Q514 ( 2SA1306 )
D524 (used a 1N914)
D525 (used a 1N914)
D526 (used a 1N914)
R616 ( 4.7 ohms 1/2 watt, was blown away )
R618 ( 4.7 ohms 1/2 watt, was open )
R534 ( .33 ohms 5 watts was open )
Comments : This is a very nice top of the line unit, well worth fixing.
