Bruce, Great idea, but how does one know what bytes to modify. You need a map of the EPROM contents, i.e. address 1F for the volume, etc. Is this what you're looking for? It would be useful. Or are you looking for information on how to use the programmer? Help Appreciated, Does any one have information on editing certain values within a EPROM. I do have a Pony type programmer. I would like to have information on resetting some of the critical values of obvious problems like "set will not start", etc. This will be useful in trouble shooting" none", RCA sets and repair or eliminate the EPROM as a problem. I thought it had some thing to do with changing numbers to all F's.on some lines in the EPROM? thanks Bruce.
