Dan,
The part number for the remote is in my email.
I have the remote here, it says Emerson on it, though I have not tried it on any
Emerson sets, yet.

Gary:
I had the same experience with the same model Emerson
TV. My client also claimed that the universal remote
she used would clear the OSD, but somehow it lost the
code it was set at. We tried for weeks to reprogram
that remote to clear the OSD but we never succeeded.
We tried all the universal remotes we had, but they
wouldn't do it. In the end we ordered the matching
remote from Emerson and that did the trick...(of
course!)
I would like to know of any universal remote that
will do this too.
