Kevin, I've been using Windows 2000 for 4 years now, and I am only just
beginning to think of a total re-install of everything. I have dozens of
programs, have removed dozens more, had plenty of spyware and removed
those, did Norton win doctor about 4 times a week, plus upgraded
motherboards twice as well as video cards, CD & DVD drives, etc. during
this one and only only install of Win 2000. I'd say I have no complaints
about it. Win XP has a lot of unecessary fluff to it which can hog
memory.
