Interesting! I had ME on a Gateway. Put a new hard drive in and installed XP
Home. Put the old hard drive in as a slave. Found that the Tamarak printer
port scanner was not there anymore, although the printer was there. Scanner
did not come with any software so had no "have disc" to try to install.
Tried all the tricks including installing other Twain scanner software but
XP would just not recognize the existance of the scanner. Got some boot menu
software that lets me boot from the slave drive. Scanner still works in ME.
At least now I can scan in ME and access the scans in XP. Any ideas on how
to get the scanner working with XP Home?
