Keith---This is a common problem with the CTC203m chassis and the star*
tuning system. From what I've been told, chances are that your customer is
on cable and he watches channels like HGTV, Life and a few of the other
specialty channels. Cause has something to do with audio muting on
commercials & signal carried by the cable company, the effect is cumulative
because it doesn't reset itself. There is no real fix from Thomson .
Cure ---customer gets an exyension cord used for X-mass tree lites- male and
female at one end and a switch at the other. When the sound goes off, cust
switches set off (ie-kills power to set) counts to 20, re-powers set and is
fine for a day, a week or until he's watched Martha too many times. (that's
supposed to be humor). Peter Kowalik pe.kow@xxxxxxxxxxxx Keith's Stereo
Burl.
